Allegri and the 5,000 minutes on the youth field: this is how the Juve project takes shape

The count of minutes played by the 12 Under 23s that Max has rotated to the first team in the last two years. In the lead Miretti and Fagioli

In 100 Juventus matches, therefore 9,000 potential minutes for each player, the Under 22s found space on the pitch together for a total of 5,273 minutes played. Allegri bis has a precise direction: to enhance the work done in the last decade by the youth sector of the Juventus club, which thanks to the Under 23 team has delivered youngsters ready to keep up with the adults. You need a lot of patience, trust. But the good intentions of a few years ago have turned into a consolidated reality, which represents the basis for the future.

BEANS

Leading the group of twelve young Under 22s who have found space in the first team (and who could play in the Primavera championship due to the new reform) are Fagioli and Miretti, born in 2001 and 2003 respectively and with different paths. Both evidently valid for reaching the first team with what it takes to find continuity, according to the space Allegri has given them since he returned to Juventus. Suffice it to say that Fagioli, who lived through the first years of the second team project, played a year on loan outside, at Cremonese, dragging the Lombards up to promotion to the top flight. After two seasons of Under 23 in Vinovo, the midfielder appeared more mature, even if he didn't miss the difficult moments, after an off-the-radar first part of the season. Beans, from last summer to today.

MIRETTI

Miretti, on the other hand, was a more homogeneous path, lived within the club between the first and second team, given that the intermediate transition from Primavera was shorter. This is because the class of 2003 was granted more first-team matches, useful for growth and not weighed down too much by the pressure that a difficult context such as Juventus can impose. Among other things, despite being a traditional midfielder, Miretti has often been used as a striker, even if he has not yet demonstrated the same qualities that distinguished him in the finalization phase for the youth sector. Soulé also spent little time in the second team, achieving clear growth at Continassa with Allegri and his staff: in the first team he played for 606 minutes, but the quality level of the services has risen a lot in the last period. He also played as a starter in important matches: Inter and Napoli.

THE OTHERS

All the other youngsters who have found space in the first team in the last two cheerful years - except Rovella, who arrived in Turin last summer and played for 23 minutes at the start of the championship, before going on loan to Monza - came from Next Gen. Iling and Barrenechea were promoted to the first team this season, finding space for 264 and 167 minutes respectively. A bit like Aké (132 minutes) who is now on loan at Dijon and De Winter (81 minutes) who is at Empoli played last season: both will return next summer. Kaio Jorge, injured for over a year, managed to play 126 minutes last season. While Barbieri this year had an opportunity for 59 minutes. Like Palumbo, on the pitch for 12 minutes, and Da Graca,
