Bonucci, Juventus responds to the AIC: "Operated correctly"

The Juventus club: "Ready to defend the full legitimacy of our behavior in the competent offices".

The Bonucci case is the one that takes center stage on the day following August 15th. The facts are well known: Juventus has closed the doors to continuing his career in black and white for the defender from Viterbo, who will have to find a new team to continue his career.

A decision that led the Italian Footballers' Association to lash out harshly against Juventus, through the mouth of the president Calcagno, interviewed by ANSA:

"He is objectively out of the squad, he suffers illegitimate conduct prohibited by the collective agreement, his dignity is trampled on. Juve must reinstate him immediately, he is suffering serious professional damages".

Having taken note of Calcagno's statements, Juventus has released an official statement in which it responds to the AIC regarding the situation experienced by Bonucci in recent weeks, a few days before Madama's first match in the league against Sottil's Udinese

"Juventus Football Club strongly reaffirms the correctness of its actions towards all registered players who are recognized and fully guaranteed all the rights provided by the category Collective Agreement" writes Ferrero's club in a note published on the afternoon of 16 August .

LEGAL BATTLE

"Juventus is also ready, in the hypothesis in which this becomes necessary, to defend the full legitimacy of its behavior in the competent offices".

The Juventus club also points out that it is ready to give life to a legal battle in this sense after Calcagno's declarations regarding what is happening around Bonucci and a future for now very distant from the Juventus colors in which he played for almost the entire his career.

"CORRECT BALANCE"

"Moreover, Juventus Football Club - concludes the press release from the Piedmontese company - hopes that the problem of defining a correct balance between the rights of players and the needs of the Clubs can be definitively addressed and resolved in the context of the negotiation of the new Collective Agreement between AIC and Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A which will take place in view of the 2024/25 football season".

BONUCCI OUT

In the last few weeks, the rumors about Bonucci's possible new team have multiplied without actually finding a solution capable of satisfying everyone. The 2021 European Champion defender ended up in the sights of Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Lazio in Italy, while the last lead leads the former Milan towards the Bundesliga to play the Champions League groups with the debutant Union Berlin's shirt.

BONUCCI'S NUMBERS

36 years old, born in 1987, Bonucci joined Juventus in 2010: since then he has always played for black and white, except for the famous season in the Milan shirt of 2017/2018. With the bianconeri he has won eight Scudetti, plus the ninth in the bulletin board of the Inter times. In total, Bonucci won seventeen trophies with Juventus, taking the field for 502 games in which he contributed to the successes thanks to various assists and 35 goals. Bonucci is in sixth place for official appearances with Juventus behind only Del Piero (record holder), Buffon, Chiellini, Chiellini, Furino and Scirea
