Dybala remembers Juventus: 'I wanted to stay, but that's what football is to do'

The Argentine also talks about personal goals: "I want the Copa America, the only trophy I miss with Argentina."

Against Salernitana there can be no to serve a round of disqualification, but Paulo Dybala is more charged than ever for the start of the new season: the technical leader of Roma is one of the most anticipated players for obvious reasons.

The Argentine striker gave an interview to 'AS' in which he addressed several issues: from the market to personal goals, including the past to black and white tints.

Juventus remains one of the troubles of the 'Joya', who would have gladly preferred to stay in Turin: the different plans of the management, however, sanctioned the divorce, in favor of the approach to Roma. That he can enjoy it in all respects.

"I've always called him (laughs, n.d.r.). We are very good friends, he is almost a family member, I have known him for a long time. Obviously it is an unpractical option, but I would have liked to have had it here in Rome with us. We met in our first year at Juve, from the beginning we had a great friendship that grew over the years. With the birth of Bella, their last daughter, they surprised us by saying that my partner and I would be the godparents. It was beautiful, whenever we can we travel to visit them, although now the priority is to see the little girl more than the parents (laughs, n.d.r.)".

THE BOND WITH JUVE

"It wasn't easy, it was unexpected. A few months earlier I found out that I would not be taken into account by the club, but until shortly before the reality was different. It was a hard blow, it's been so many years and it was like my home. I knew everyone, the stadium, the fans, I was the deputy captain... My idea was to continue there, but football works like that, I wasn't the first and I won't be the last. I am and will be grateful to the company, which made me grow as a person and as a footballer. It's been a very good seven years."

MESSI AND CRISTIANO RONALDO

"By being next to them you can only learn. If you are smart, just by looking at them do you realize a lot of things, how they take care of themselves, every detail. You have to try to absorb, then it's hard to do what they do, because no one has succeeded. I'm a privileged one: I played and won with both of them."

COPA AMERICA GOAL

“It's one of my goals. We won the World Cup, the Final and when the Copa América was brought home I wasn't there. I'll give everything to be there and fight for the trophy I'm missing."
