The Juventus DS returns early from the tour while rumors of a negotiation to sell the goalkeeper to the Bavarians are growing.
According to La Repubblica, Bayern Munich would be interested in Szczesny. The probable transfer of Sommer to Inter and the uncertainties about Neuer's injury, struggling with rehabilitation from a leg injury caused by a skiing accident, put the Bavarians in a position to find a new profile for that role.
For this reason, the new Juventus sports director Cristiano Giuntoli returned from the United States before the end of the black and white tour.
THE REASONS OF BAYERN
As mentioned, Bayern Munich are currently quite open in goal: Neuer has been injured since January and is evaluating every hypothesis, including the extreme one of retiring, Sommer is ever closer to Inter, while the veteran Ulreich and the young Fruchtl don't seem to ideal profiles to play regularly as starters.
For this Szczesny can be an option. We will have to see Juventus' requests, but if Giuntoli returned earlier, it means that at least the will to better understand supply and demand is there.
