Juve background: how and why the plea agreement was reached

What does the compromise to be submitted to the judges foreseen after days of negotiations: with the ok there will be no other penalties and it will end with sports justice

Twist of the scene. Juventus plays in advance and will already appear before the National Federal Court today to resolve the line of inquiry relating to salary manoeuvres, partnerships with other clubs and relations with agents . The request to anticipate the hearing, initially scheduled for next June 15th, can in fact be traced back to the Bianconeri's intention to negotiate the sentence. It was not easy to reach this possible turning point, which is indeed the result of reflections, negotiations, meetings, summits. Summit at Juventus, among the lawyers who - evidently - after the important victory obtained in the Federal Court of Appeal (5 point discount and acquittal of the members of the former board of directors) are now trying to score another point. Ditto in the Federal Prosecutor's Office, after the work done in the last few weeks, months, it was understood that it could be a good and right thing to prepare for a plea deal. Also because - to be honest - did it make all this sense to separate the investigations and proceedings, then trials, on Juventus into two different strands? So far the most "condemned" have been Juventus fans and others: continuing indefinitely would demolish the football system.
