On the website of the 2023/24 competition, the Bianconeri club first disappeared from the list of teams qualified for the playoffs and then was again included
Has Juve already been ousted from the European cups or has those who compiled the list on the Conference League website just forgotten to include the Bianconeri club? In short, was UEFA giving us news, revealing the outcome of the pronouncement of the Financial Control Body of the UEFA Clubs expected in the coming weeks, or was it a simple forgetfulness? It would seem that it was just an oversight: shortly after 21.45 on Thursday 22 June the logo of the Bianconeri club appeared together with that of the other 4 clubs already qualified for the playoffs.
Forgotten Juventus
Juventus, Aston Villa, Eintracht Frankfurt, Lille and Osasuna are the five clubs already qualified for the playoffs of the competition, the last preliminary round, the one that will see the teams compete for a place in the groups on August 24 and 31 next. But in the list on the Conference League website for a few hours there were only the English (someeen second in the Premier League), the French (5 in Ligue 1), the Germans (arrived the second in the Bundesliga) and the Spanish (seven in La Liga). Absent Juve, she also placed seventh in the league. However, the Bianconeri club magically reappeared during Thursday evening. The question remains: was forgetfulness only the result of inattention or does it presage scenarios of future exclusion from European competitions?
