The midfielder will renew his contract with the Bianconeri: waiting for the signing in the next few days

Nicolò Fagioli and Juventus still together. The midfielder, in the coming days, will renew his contract with the Bianconeri club until 2028 (which currently expires in 2026). Agreement reached, therefore. The signature is expected in the next few days.

Economically important renewal. In addition to this aspect, it is an important gesture of the company: a sign of closeness towards the player and that testifies to the desire to have him as a protagonist, especially with a view to the future.

The moment of Nicolò Fagioli

Nicolò Fagioli is not going through one of the best moments of his career. The Juventus midfielder - in recent weeks - after being investigated for making bets on some illegal platforms, was disqualified for 12 months. To be precise, 7 will be the months to be discounted for sports activity (5, on the other hand, switched to alternative prescriptions). Therefore, the Bianconeri club will have to do without its midfielder until May 19, 2024. Despite this, Fagioli will be able to continue training with the team.

Juventus has shown closeness to the 2001 class: an example of this is the Bianconeri club's statement made public days ago. "The Company takes note of the official press release of the FIGC n ° 177/AA and confirms its full support for Nicolò Fagioli in addressing this path, providing the boy with the necessary support in carrying out the indicated therapeutic plan and, as expressly provided for in the agreement, collaborating with the Federation also to identify the planned meeting cycles".

The statement continues: "We are firmly convinced that Nicolò, with the support of the Company, his teammates, his family and the professionals who assist him, will face the therapeutic and training path with a great sense of responsibility and, once the disqualification has been granted, he will be able to compete again with due serenity"
