Juventus negotiate, but realism does not cure the sense of injustice

The Juventus people will have to accept a logical but indigestible choice after a terrible year

If you can't win, at least don't lose : a sport involving a draw is almost always a more effective metaphor to explain life, very often trapped in the intermediate nuances that separate victory from defeat. Today Juventus will negotiate with the sporting justice and will definitively close the legal case which - as Allegri says - has ruined the season. Barring other twists and turns (watch out, because there have been no shortage of them, in those classrooms, from January onwards), he will not get any other penalty points, but only a fine: a sentence that, in theory, fits better with the legal logic which should punish administrative infractions without affecting the work and sacrifices of those who take the field and do not benefit from any accounting mess.

Juve's strategy and the position of the management

A sentence that is probably the result of a more general discourse that also includes the penalty, which seemed excessive to many, on capital gains. If you sum up, you get different results depending on your point of view: it's a reduction of the damage to a minimum or a disgrace that you shouldn't have accepted, fighting to the end, with the risk of ending up much worse, but with the weapons in hand. Every position is legitimate, every opinion understandable, because the political realism of the Juventus managers does not cure the sense of injustice perceived by the Juventus people. Indeed, it is not the best to come to terms with those who have initiated processes trampling on many rights (in the case of the capital gains proceeding) and with those who have punished because they wanted and had to strike, not on the basis of a real assessment of the seriousness of the behaviors and of any violations. On the other hand, the last six months have taught Juventus and its fans a very hard and very clear lesson: challenging the system is not a good idea if you don't have the certainty of bringing it down . If it stands, the system punishes you severely.
