Nico Gonzalez-Fiorentina, post after the farewell: "I couldn't stay silent..."

The Argentine winger wrote a message on social media to say goodbye to Florence and the Viola fans before starting his adventure at Juve

Nico Gonzalez has officially been a Juventus player since Monday 26 August. The winger arrived from Fiorentina after a long negotiation in which Giuntoli pushed to get to the Argentine and hand him over to Thiago Motta in this transfer window. A player who is functional to the Italian-Brazilian coach's style of play, who makes wingers his strong point, as he has demonstrated in these first two outings. It is no coincidence that the first goals were scored by Mbangula and Weah against Como, with the Belgian winger also doing well in the match against Verona (assist and penalty won). While waiting to start his first training sessions with the Bianconeri, Gonzalez wanted to take a moment to write a message and say goodbye to Florence and Fiorentina.

Nico Gonzalez, the message to Fiorentina

Nico Gonzalez wanted to leave a message on social media. A greeting to the city, to Fiorentina and to its fans: "Good morning, I'm leaving but I couldn't do it in silence, I want to tell you that I was happy in this city. I appreciated every corner of Florence. The gratitude of the people, their kindness, made me feel like one more. In any profession or job you try to give your best to continue to grow and this was the decision I made. New challenges await me but without forgetting the path and I will, in this three-year history I have given my all to take Fiorentina as far as possible, we have been very close to several goals".

The message continues: "I leave in peace with a mixture of feelings. The joy of continuing to progress in my career, the sadness of leaving behind this club and its incredible city. Thanks to all my teammates, the medical staff, the technical staff, the directors and everyone who is close to the team. To the fans who I will never forget and tell them that in one way or another I will always return!" .
