The indictment of the Attorney General of the Court of Cassation agrees with the Juventus lawyers on the jurisdiction and accepts the request of Agnelli and the other managers
Juventus wins : the Prisma investigation will move to Milan , on alleged accounting violations and false accounting. The Tribunal and the Prosecutor's Office of Turin are not competent for the Attorney General of the Cassation , who in his indictment accepted the requests of the Juventus managers, from Andrea Agnelli down, and requested that the proceeding continue in Milan , the natural headquarters because it is there, where the Stock Exchange resides, that the crime, if any, was committed.
The judge of the Court of Cassation will issue his judgment on September 6 , but what Luigi Cuomo, who replaced the Attorney General, wrote, authorizes us to think that it will be unlikely that a decision will be taken other than the one motivated in the 17-page indictment filed last Monday.
Juve, Prisma trial towards Milan
This is good news for Juventus, who have been pushing to move everything to Milan since the beginning of the proceedings. There were various reasons why the lawyers wanted a change of venue, starting from the guilty atmosphere that reigned in Turin , up to the fact that in Milan, in similar situations (see the capital gains cases of Milan and Inter), the Public Prosecutor's always archived without even going to trial. True, there are not only the present fictitious capital gains in the Prisma investigation, but the Juventus lawyers have taken the PG's indictment as good news : it is much better for Juventus to play this match in Milan.
