Un Cuore Due Colori: present a short film

8mm Production will present the short film "Un Cuore Due Colori" by Marco Maraniello.

The short will be presented in the World Premiere on 17 September 2023 at 10.00 pm at the Ferrara Film Festival with an attached parade on the Red Carpet and is in competition at the David Di Donatello 2024.

Subsequently it will be presented at various film festivals in Italy (also in Naples) and abroad and you can then see it on the various streaming platforms.

Synopsis:

Two boys at the antipodes, divided by football faiths that place them in constant competition, belonging to different social and cultural contexts, against the backdrop of a Naples that is preparing to celebrate one of the most desired goals of the last 33 years. Gennaro is of humble origins, he lives with his parents in one of the most popular and iconic neighborhoods of the city, the Spanish Quarters; while Lorenzo comes from a wealthy family of Posillipo.

The boys will compete in a soccer match, wearing the colors of their favorite teams: Napoli and Juventus. But the match won't see them totally opposed, since Gennaro due to a cardiac malformation is forced to take on the referee's shoes, leaving the others the opportunity to play in the blue shirt.

A story that shows us the human side of sport: two boys with a deep football rivalry will end up being more united than ever. An apparently simple narrative, which will see a succession of twists and ends in a truly exciting way.
