WHO IS FACUNDO GONZALEZ: AGE, ROLE AND CAREER

Facundo Gonzalez Molino is a 20-year-old centre-back arriving from Valencia's B team. Born in Montevideo on 6 June 2003, Gonzalez joined the Spanish club's academy in 2019 and was part of the Uruguay Under-20 squad that recently won the World Cup in Argentina (he was a starter in the final win against Italy , with the number 16 on his shoulders and deployed on the centre-left of the back four). 193 centimeters tall and left-footed, his career began in the youth sector of Vista Alegre, a Spanish fifth division team. It is from there that first Espanyol and then Valencia noticed and picked him up.

Juventus, for the purchase of the player, will pay an indemnity into Valencia's coffers of around 400 thousand euros which could become 3 million over the years, thanks to the various bonuses. There is also a percentage on future resale. In Turin, a five-year contract is ready for the boy with an initial salary of 600,000 euros per season.
